New Year’s Resolutions
It may be coming close to a week of the new year but it’s never too late to make a resolution! What’s your new year’s resolution? Lose weight, love more, be healthy? One mum’s number one is not the usual stuff we hear – ”stop keeping the house so clean.” Yes, you heard it right, she has promised to stop keeping her house really clean.
While it’s unusual to hear someone making negative resolutions, Brittany Wallman of the Sun Sentinel says that this year, she will just try to learn to accept the mess that her family makes around the house. Amid her teenage son’s protests, she’s calmly explained to him that she will not drive herself crazy just to keep their house spic-and-span. And now that she’s accepting the mess, she has all the time in the world to do her number two – eat more salad.
Now that’s a resolution with a twist!
