2-pound baby girl with dwarfism who they called 'Thumbelina' survives against all odds

When Kenadie Jourdin was born she weighed a mere two pounds. The medical staff fondly called her ‘Thumbelina’ and they did not think she would survive for very long.

Kenadie was born with an extremely rare disease called Primordial Dwarfism. The condition affects about only 100 people worlwide.

Aside from their unusual size, children with primordial dwarfism are also prone to brain and heart damage. They also tend rarely make it past the age of 30.

But, against all odds, she made it. Now 12 years old, she is living life to the fullest and is just like any other tween with friends and interests and a positive outlook towards life!
