2. Those returning to the workforce should upgrade their skills first
Mommies who wish to return to the workforce in the Year of the Earth Boar should be wary that the first half of the year will be looking pretty slow. But Dato Joey says to be prepared for opportunities presenting itself in the second half of 2019.
"Those who were on a hiatus face stiff competition and difficulties. Do not be disheartened. Take this opportunity to upgrade yourself by acquiring new skills. Manage your expectations based on this when finding a job. Put what you need first. It is not advisable to be selective or picky when you need to support your family," he adds.
