December 30, 2019 – January 1, 2020

Definitely the longest weekend to date for the New Year, since December 28 and December 29, 2019 are Saturday and Sunday respectively.

December 30, 2019, Monday is Rizal Day, December 31, 2019, Tuesday is New Year’s Eve, and lastly, January 1, 2020, Wednesday is New Year’s Day.

Definitely a great New Year’s weekend to have a time-off or probably a long weekend vacation with your family.

April 9, 2020 – April 12, 2020

Another long weekend to watch out for in the year 2020!

April 9, 2020 is both Araw ng Kagitingan and Maundy Thursday. April 10-12, 2020 would be Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday respectively—definitely a long holy weekend to look forward to!

You may plan a soul-searching or meditation trip for yourself or with your family or probably just spend the holidays in your provinces and plan on going to churches, the traditional way.

May 1, 2020 – May 3, 2020

Mostly everyone loves having a day off at their busy life or work schedule, thus they love May 1 because it’s a Labor Day holiday.

May 1 would be a Friday next year thus, May 2 and May 3 would fall in on a Saturday and Sunday respectively.

June 12, 2020 – June 14, 2020

June 12 Independence Day next year would fall in on a Friday, thus again June 13 and June 14 would be a weekend.

Another long weekend for a getaway or maybe just a staycation rather, especially if you’re feeling lazy to drive or to fly.

July 31, 2020 – August 2, 2020

July 31 isn’t the official Eid Al-Adha yet, since usually it can be rescheduled depends on the Muslim calendar.

But July 31 would fall in on a Friday, so basically another long weekend since August 1 and 2 would fall in on a weekend—probably a road trip this long weekend?

August 21, 2020 – August 23, 2020

Ninoy Aquino Day would fall in on a Friday next year, thus August 22 and 23 would fall in on a Saturday and Sunday respectively.

August 29, 2020 – August 31, 2020

Since August 31, the National Heroes’ Day would fall in on a Monday, August 29 and 30 are basically a weekend.
