Donning her school uniform, Lola Salvacion F. Nacario proudly completed Grade 10 at Fort Bonifacio High School at the age of 79.
Lola Salvacion’s persistence is a testament to never giving up on your dreams.
Dariecyl Dionisio shared the photo of Lola Salvacion on Facebook, which has been shared nearly 3,000 times since it was posted on April 4, Saturday. So far, it has earned nearly 8,000 likes and reactions. Comments and well wishes started pouring in.
In the caption, Dariecyl, a schoolmate of lola Salvacion, wrote how proud they are of her.
“You are an achiever. You have made us all proud. It must be a very proud moment for you. All of the hard work you have put in, has paid off,” she wrote. “As you cherish the fruits of your hard work, I wish that success keeps following you in everything that you do. Your reward lies ahead. Have a successful future. We hope your dreams take you to the corners of your smiles, to the highest of your hopes, to the windows of your opportunities, and to the most special places your heart has ever known. Another schoolmate, Princes Garces, also shared a photo with lola Salvacion, writing: “So proud of you lola, ikaw po ang nagpatunay na wala sa edad ang edukasyon. Magiging isa ka po sa inspirasyon namin para mas pagbutihan pa namin ang pag-aaral namin.”
One of her teachers also proudly shared a photo of lola Salvacion.
