Despite the fact that one of her five children has cystic fibrosis, she remains positive, spending most of her days having fun on the beach with her husband and kids, living life to the fullest!

Morning treatment with Spidey who is wearing Trax’s old chest physiotherapy vest from when he was a wee babe. His vest uses air pressure and pulses to create compressions that loosens, thins and moves mucus from the lungs. We’re working with him on how to cough and huff to get all that junk out that’s been loosened up…he’s not quite there yet though. He does this two-four times a day, half an hour every time. During his treatments he uses his nebulizer which has either saline to help break up his mucus or pulmozyme which is used to improve his lung function by thinning pulmonary secretions and reducing the risk of infections. #cf #cysticfibrosis #pray4trax #curecf #cfawarenessmonth #beaware
