From content creators to families who are simply looking for a good time, mallgoers can finally immerse in a new kind of fun. In partnership with the Philippine Amusement and Entertainment Corporation (PAEC), Ayala Malls is launching four new attractions featuring unique concepts that inspire creativity, encourage curiosity, and promote quality bonding time with loved ones.
First to open is the Food Wanderer gallery at Ayala Malls Manila Bay. It is the country’s biggest food art display museum that aims to showcase Filipino heritage through gastronomy. With over 10,000 replicas of local dishes and gigantic modern art installations, the playful exhibit unveils the diverse history and culture of the 17 regions of the Philippines. Following this are three more concepts which are opening soon, which will be revealed in greater detail nearing its respective opening dates: Dream Lab at Ayala Malls Circuit Makati, Multiverse Museum at Glorietta, and Museum of Emotions at Ayala Center Cebu.
A ceremonial contract signing signaled the inauguration of the partnership. This was led by Ayala Malls President Christopher Maglanoc and PAEC President and CEO Lawrence Li Tan.
Tan shared that his team eagerly welcomed the challenge to build these amusement centers despite the pandemic. His team eventually laid out long-term plans with Ayala Malls and revealed, “We have approximately ten concepts arising in Ayala Malls but right now we are opening first four for this year.”
Each museum averages around 3,000sqm. Food Wanderer in Ayala Malls Manila Bay and Multiverse Museum at Glorietta both have 3,000sqm of space; Dream Lab at Ayala Malls Circuit Makati is at 4,000sqm; and Museum of Emotions at Ayala Center Cebu is at 2,5000sqm. Thus, the first four themes launching within 2022 garners over 12,000sqm of footprint in Ayala Malls. This achievement also enables PAEC to realize its core mission to a greater scale, which is to provide affordable educational and cultural experiences to less fortunate kids; as well as give job opportunities to marginalized communities. In fact, PAEC’s staff is composed of 80% out of school youth, 10% senior citizens and PWD, and 10% college graduates.
“This shows our commitment to provide pioneering concepts that give joy, entertainment, and amazing experiences within safe and accessible locations to all,” said Ayala Malls President Christopher Maglanoc.
