It was intended to be a happy family reunion, but it sadly ended in tragedy for the Peña family. They were on their way home to Pili town in Camarines Sur when they figured in a 5-vehicle car crash.
The sole survivor of the fatal accident was a 9-month-old baby boy, named Naoki William, after he was flung from the car window.
Baby Needs Breast Milk Donations in Naga City
After the accident that killed his family, baby Naoki was rushed to the nearby Mother Seton Hospital in Naga City. There, doctors operated on his fractured left leg.
His mom, Susanna, had been breastfeeding the little one. After her death, the baby’s aunt Richelle stepped in to nurse the baby. Soon after the baby’s story came to light, more people have been donating to the little one.
The uncle of the baby’s father, Jimmy, told the Inquirer that private individuals were donating diapers, milk bottles, as well as cash. Parenting community, the Parenting Emporium, also shared baby Naoki’s story with their over 66,000 followers.
