Many of their fans are anticipating that the adorable Baby Zia will be turning a year old with a grand party, but hands-on parents Dingdong and Marian prefer to take a different route.

Opting for a simple celebration for their only daughter, the Kapuso power couple plan to have a small family gathering.

Para sa amin, we want to keep it simple,” revealed Dingdong.

And because she’s still too young to remember it, the practical dad believed it’ll be best to save a grand party for later.

It will be a simple but not a small gathering because the Dantes and Rivera clans are pretty large.

“Yung pamilya naman namin, marami na,” said Dingdong. “Mahigit isang daan na. Gonzales, Dantes, pati mga Rivera.”

When she grows a little older, then having a more lavish celebration could be a possiblity.

“Siguro yung medyo naglalaro na siya,” he added. “May mga kaibigan na siya.”

It seems like only yesterday when we celebrated baby Zia’s birth, and the hands-on dad agrees.

“Ang bilis-bilis, parang kailan lang,” he marveled.
