Babies typically cut their teeth between 6 to 12 months. By the age of three, most kids already have their full set of teeth. This website also shares the order of appearance of your little one’s teeth. Here are some common teething symptoms:

  • fussiness and irritability
  • trouble sleeping
  • loss of appetite
  • drooling more than usual
  • gum pain

It’s worth noting that fever, runny nose, and diarrhea are not caused by teething. Seattle Children’s cautions against blaming teething for the three symptoms mentioned above. This may make the caregiver delay treatment, which can be dangerous. Please call your healthcare provider right away your child appears to be very sick.
