Cristalle Henares, daughter of Doctor Vicki Belo, is getting married this year. And with the wedding fast approaching, both mother and daughter are experiencing separation anxiety.
In a sweet video posted on Cristalle’s Instagram page, Cristalle and Vicki talk about their very close relationship. In fact, they consider themselves BFFs!
“This wedding is a bittersweet moment for me. My roommate for 26 years is going to leave me, my best friend,” Vicki admitted in the video.
“Already feeling separation anxiety from @victoria_belo – my mommy and my best friend! I miss you so much mommy!,” Cristalle commented in the comments section.
Not afraid to share her deepest secrets
While most children find it increasingly awkward to share their secrets with their parents as they grow up, it is not so with Cristalle.
Cristalle still enjoys a very open relationship with her mom, who is, in fact, her greatest confidante.
“She’s someone that you can definitely open up to, exposing the deepest secrets we don’t usually tell the whole world,” Cristalle said in the video. “Who better to share that with than someone who has seen me grow up since I was a child.”
Bedroom meetings
Evenings are always extra special for this sweet mom-and-daughter tandem, because it’s when they get to talk about their dreams and future plans.
“We have what we call bedroom meetings ‘coz that’s when we discuss ‘What are we going to do kaya with Belo…just looking at the ceiling and talking about life,” Vicki said.
Vicki and Cristalle own and manage the chain of Belo beauty clinics.
“We always hold hands before we sleep,” Vicki also said.

Best friends forever
“The time I knew na pala we were really BFFs was because she asked me to be her matron on honor,” Vicki shared with a laugh. “Sabi ko (I said) but I’m your mom.”
“But you’re my best friend,” Cristalle told her mom when Vicki expressed her surprise.
“I’m very lucky to have a mom like her who’s also my best friend,” Cristalle said.
Best matron of honor ever
Vicki recently dropped everything to accompany Cristalle to Italy to look for the perfect wedding/reception venue.
Vicki and Cristalle toured the villas around Lake Como. The ladies were accompanied by Doctor Hayden Kho Jr., long-time boyfriend of Vicki, and Australian hotelier Justin Pitt, Cristalle’s fiance.
“I finally was able to bring my mom to my dream venue! I walked her through the wedding day plan,” Cristalle captioned this photo of her and Vicki holding hands.
Cristalle and her fiancé finally decided on Villa Erba, a 19th centrury villa situated on an impressive 24 acres of immaculate gardens and towering trees.
