Seeing your baby while in the womb is an emotional experience for any mom. But for visually impaired Tatiana Guerra, her experience was even more powerful.
The 30-year-old expectant mom lost her sight when she was merely 17 years old.
When she went in for an ultrasound 20 weeks into her pregnancy, the 30-year-old mom-to-be was ready to simply hear her doctor describing what her son, who she planned to name Murilo, looked like.
The short film from Huggies Brazil shows the doctor surprising Tatiana instead with a 3D-printed sculpture of her baby, which was based on the ultrasound image.
It was an emotional moment as she lovingly touched the 3-D sculpture. She began by lightly stroking the braille engravement and it was then that she realized the precious gift she had in her hands.
The detailed sculpture allowed Tatiana to visualize the size and facial features of her unborn son with only her sense of touch.
The heartwarming short film entitled “Huggies Presents: Meeting Murilo” was part of an ad campaign entitled #CountingTheDays.
Truly, as the ad says, “Every mom deserves to embrace each moment.”
