Nephrologists Dr. Rhodora Valenzona and Dr. Clifton Pe delivered insightful talks, sharing practical tips for managing kidney health. Visitors also enjoyed one-on-one doctor consultations, vital sign checks, and a free two-step kidney screening.

The Check Your Choices Game Room, a life-sized board game, added a playful yet informative touch to the event. Participants discovered ways to protect their kidneys while having fun.

The importance of early diagnosis

“This holiday season, we aim to gift people the knowledge and tools for better health,” said Dr. Greta Cortez, Boehringer Ingelheim’s Head of Medicine. “Early detection of CKD is vital, especially given its connection to heart disease and diabetes.”

New booths spotlighting heart health and type 2 diabetes provided additional learning opportunities. Boehringer Ingelheim also featured its educational website, offering resources to help individuals understand and prevent CKD.

Attendees left the event empowered to make healthier choices during the holidays and beyond. By prioritizing kidney health, Filipinos can truly embrace the season of giving with wellness and care.
