“We travel and I’m the first person to say, ‘get the school work done as quickly as possible because let’s go out and explore,’” Angelina told The Independent in June 2011. “I’d rather them go to a museum and learn to play guitar and read and pick a book they love.”

“We want to make sure we don’t build a family so big that we don’t have absolutely enough time to raise them each really well,” Angelina once told Vanity Fair. “Children are clearly a commitment, a bigger commitment [than marriage]. It’s for life.”

Angelina once joked with Total Film magazine that she’s remained humble in motherhood: “The great thing about having a bunch of kids is that they just remind you that you’re the person who takes them to go poop. That’s who you are!”
“The center of my life is my kids,” Angelina told the Los Angeles Times. “I woke up at 3 in the morning with four kids with jet lag and two babies. I put myself together for a few hours and go out. And then I go home. This is my job.”

“I don’t think about beauty,” Angelina told 60 Minutes in 2012. “I wake up and I want to be a smarter person, that’s my focus … I’m encouraging certainly my girls that if they can make their inside and who they are really, really stunning then everything falls together.”
