An 11-year-old child was stabbed in Taal, Batangas, after the child allegedly picked up a 5-peso coin that belonged to the suspect.

11-year-old child stabbed all because of a 5-peso coin

William Anorico, the 23-year-old suspect, was reported to have been arguing with the 11-year-old victim over a 5-peso coin.

According to Police Superintendent Ricaredo Dalisay, Chief of Taal PNP, the argument started when the suspect dropped the coin, which the victim picked up. The suspect quickly got angry at the child, who took a knife and stabbed the victim.

The victim had wounds on his arm and his stomach as a result of the attack.

After the incident, local police quickly found the suspect and put him in jail.

"Sorry saka patawad na lang ho"

When asked about the incident, the suspect shares, "Sa maliit na halaga, nagkaroon ako ng masamang nagawa. Nakasaksak ako ng isang bata, pero pinagsisihan ko naman po ang nangyari."

"Sorry saka patawad na lang ho," he adds.

The victim's family has not given a statement, but they are planning to file a case against the suspect.
