The Parokya ni Edgar frontman just can’t help but get excited about being a dad for the first time.
He recently shared an adorable photo of him assembling cribs for his unborn child.
“Medyo excited. Medyo lang naman,” joked Chito in the caption. “Inassemble ko na yung mga cribs kanina. Dalawa yung cribs namin kasi bumili ako ng isa tapos niregaluhan kami ng friend namin ng isa pa!
The two cribs, he gushed, were perfect for their rooms on both floors of their house.
After he assembled it, however, his wife Neri asked him to take it down since it will just be gathering dust until she gives birth in November!
The excited dad-to-be also took to Instagram to express how proud he is of his resourceful and entrepreneurial better half.
“Nakakatuwa ‘tong si Neri,” he wrote in a recent post.

He also shared that he still covers their household budget, wanting to be a good provider.
“I try to guide her, give her opportunities to earn for herself, and to be as supportive as possible sa mga projects niya. Kasi syempre tag team kami.”
Instead of simply handing her the budget, Chito encourages her to earn as well. “What I do is I try to guide her, give her opportunities to earn for herself, and to be as supportive as possible sa mga projects niya,” shared Chito. “Kasi syempre tag team kami.”
Neri shared this teaser to her new project: a line of linen and room sprays! With the teaser, she also shared some advice for those who want to start their own micro-business.
Naku, ako din ay nahirapan,” confided the mom-to-be. “Ang dami kong naluging pera. Nakakapanghinayang. She also stressed the importance of focusing on the solution instead of dwelling on problems; finding the right partner is also an important factor of succeeding in one’s entrepreneurial pursuits.
