Never afraid to show his mushy side on social media, rock musician Chito Miranda once more proved he is a family man worth emulating.

On Father’s Day, Chito announced that he is going to be a father soon.

“Yey!!! Magce-celebrate na din ako ng Fathers Day!,” an excited Chito said in a sweet Instagram post featuring a silhouette photo of his wife, Neri Naig, standing in front of a doorway leading to a terrace, with her hands on her already prominent belly.

A loving husband

Over the years, netizens have grown to admire Chito for the love he has for his wife. Chito is applauded for his sweet social media posts about his better half.

And, after almost two years of marriage, it seems he is still as smitten with his wife as ever.

Just a few weeks ago, Chito again took to Instagram to talk about his wife and how much he misses her when he is away working.

“Namimiss ko na asawa ko (I miss my wife),” Chito wrote.

Chito said that even though he loves working and being in a band, he still misses Neri when he is away for long periods of time.

“..gusto kong sumiksik sa asawa ko habang natutulog sya, na gusto kong magising sa tabi nya habang hinahalik-halikan nya ako sa pisngi ng light para di ako magising (pero nagigising pa rin ako),” he added.

(I want to cuddle next to her while she sleeps, to wake up beside her while she kisses me lightly so that I won’t wake up, but I still wake up anyway.)

“Gusto kong kumain kasabay nya. Gusto kong manood ng “Friends” or HGTV or History Channel or ng “The Catch” kasama nya,” Chito also said.

(I want to eat with her. I want to watch “Friends” or HGTV or History Channel or “The Catch” with her.)

Making each day count

For this loving husband, each day counts.

“Alam ko naman na magagawa ko din ulit yung mga yun in a few days, pero bawat araw kasi na hindi ko nagagawa yun, feeling ko isang araw yun na never ko na maibabalik,” Chito said.

(I know that I will be able to do all that again in a few days, but each day that I can’t do all that is a day that I will never get back.)

Chito, however, went on to say that days spent apart also remind him of the love they have for each other.

“..it reminds me how in love I am with my wife, and it is comforting to know that somewhere, a girl that I am deeply in love with, is also missing me and is waiting for me to come home,” Chito said.
