The Holidays are upon us once again! It’s true what they say, there’s nothing quite like Christmastime in the Philippines.

Quezon City

Vertis Northern Lights

Ayala Malls Vertis North (near Trinoma)

One of the newest malls in the Quezon City area is really getting into the Holiday spirit! Inspired by the Aurora Borealis, they have put together a dazzling display of LED lights and lazers, choreographed to the tune festive medleys!

The Christmas light show happens every 30 minutes, beginning from 6pm to 10pm daily until January 8,2017.

Filinivest Homes East, Marcos Highway

Charmingly called The Christmas House, this privately owned home has delighted up to 1,000 visitors each day, from Monday to Saturday, 7 pm to 9:30 pm and Sundays, 7:30 pm to 9 pm. The house’s owner is Alexander Cruz. They first started the family tradition of illuminating their home in stunning Holiday decor in 2010.

Christmas Musical Street Light Tunnel

Tiendesitas, Ortigas East

Walk and drive through a vibrant Christmas tunnel reminiscent of those found in Japan, Canada, and U.K. The magical tunnel is the first of its kind in the country and spans 1.4 kilometers with over 2,000 pixels of dancing, musically choreographed lights.

Ortigas

Open on weekdays from 6 to 10 pm, and weekdays from 6 to 11 pm, the stunning Christmas light display can be found inside the Meralco compound. This year’s theme ‘Maliwanag ang Paskong Pilipino’ celebrates the beloved travel destinations in the country. You can also find a giant illuminated Belen and an eco-friendly train for kids at the park!

On December 24-25, 30-31 and Jan 1, the Meralco Liwanag Park will be open from 6 pm to 12 am.

New Zuniga, Mandaluyong City

This quaint street in Mandaluyong has become known for going all out when the Ber months roll around. Though they’re private houses, visitors are welcome to take photos outside the homes and beside the life-sized Santas that line the festive neighborhood, which is just a short drive or jeepney ride away from the Mandaluyong City Hall.

This stunning display is comprised of three rooms within the mall and one room in the shape of a giant Christmas presend found outside. The installations were said to have been inspired by acclaimed artist Yayoi Kusama, who is known for her penchant for the psychedelic, ‘infinity mirrors,’ and all things with polka dots.

This is quite possibly one of the most popular light shows in the city. What’s great about this is that you could have a picnic or share a meal in any of the nearby restos while waiting for the light and sounds show to start!

BGC Gets Lit!: Season of Passions 

Bonifacio Global City, Taguig

From November 20 to January 7, 2018, Bonifacio High street will dazzle you with a musically choreographed display of light and sounds show, complete with a giant, glowing Christmas present centerpiece.

The light show happens every 30 minutes from 6 to 10 pm.

Pasay City

CCP’s Habi ng Pagkakaisa

The towering Christmas tree is woven with local materials in honor of the Philippines’ rich weaving tradition. Though it’s not a light show, it is no less magnificent! Kids will surely love running around the nearby play areas. You can even grab dinner or go to the nearby amusement park after you take photos with this beautiful Christmas display.

Mall of Asia Grand Festival of Lights

At 5:30 pm every Saturday of December, including Christmas Day, a festive parade will be lighting up the streets around SM Mall of Asia, from the North to the South Arcade. Kids and kids at heart will surely be delighted to see Santa in his sleigh with his elves in tow. Amusing mascots will also be dancing to Christmas carols and to cap it all off, there will be a magnificent fireworks display!
