Baking is a fun way to introduce your kids to the joys of making your own food. Although messy and sometimes chaotic, the result is just as yummy: freshly baked cupcakes for merienda or even dessert. 2. Make Your Own Clay

Kids love making things—that much is certain. That’s why, you can reintroduce them to your favorite childhood craft: clay! To make your very own non-toxic version, all you need are the following ingredients (according to iheartnaptime.com): all-purpose flour, salt, cream of tartar, lukewarm water, vegetable oil, and food coloring. This recipe can keep up to three months, and they’re pretty soft and easy to mold.

3. Set Up Your Own Indoor Fort

Kids miss the outdoors because it’s where their adventures take place. But who says that your house is boring? With some blankets, clothespins, rubber bands, and the many things you can find around you, you can easily make your own fort at home. String up some fairy lights, create cotton clouds, turn off the lights, and voila—you have your very own indoor adventure.
