Steamed Herbal Chicken


500g chicken
What you need:
½ tsp sugar

1 tsp soya sauce

1/8 tsp pepper

½ tsp salt

1 tsp sesame oil

2 slices old ginger

Chinese Herbs

20g Tom Sum

20g Wai San

10g Tong Kwaii

25g Kei Chi

2 pcs Pak Kay

5 red dates

What you do:

Clean chicken and marinate with seasoning.

Heat wok with 1 tsp sesame oil. Fry ginger till golden brown.

Add in the herbs and 2 tbsp hot water. Stir for 3 minutes.

Dish out.

Place an aluminium foil in a deep dish. Place chicken in the centre and add the herbs. Bring both ends of the foil together and twist it so as to seal it.

Steam the bundled chicken for 1 ½ hours.

Serve.
