For his daughter Zia's second birthday, actor Dingdong Dantes shared a touching message, which also contained his thoughts on fatherhood so far, showing that celebrity parents are just like any parent. They also have to adjust to parenthood, learning as they go. The doting dad shared some insights that many parents can relate to.
"As a father, there is no guarantee of until when I could hold her still like this— as if everything ahead depends solely on my shoulders. It is such a noble feeling," he wrote in the caption of a photo of him carrying Zia, whose head rests gently on his shoulders.
"The past two years with her have been the best years of my life and I can’t wait to see how she’ll blossom into that fine woman she’s meant to become," he continued. "For now, we, her parents, are happily preparing her for that jungle out there— it will only be a matter of time."

"So, back to completing those puzzles, reading books, and singing her favorite Moana theme song 'How far I’ll go?'. But wait, not yet. Not too fast, our Maria Letizia."
All parents can relate to how fast the first few years fly by and wanting to cherish every moment with their little ones because they do grow up quite fast.

A year ago, he told Inquirer in an interview that fatherhood and being married has changed his life.
Despite his busy acting career, he prides himself in being a hands-on dad.
"I especially love bathing Zia—it’s my favorite activity with her. I change her diapers, too! Sometimes I bring her to taping, and put a hood on her," he shares, emphasizing that Marian is even more hands-on than he is. "Marian is just on a different level. She does research, she talks to other moms. We have a helper, but my wife prefers to do things by herself."
He described Zia as a very happy child, who takes after her mom Marian.
"Zia’s very fun-loving and always smiling," he gushed. "She loves dancing and music."
Shortly after Zia was born, Dingdong shared how being a dad was truly 'very fulfilling.'
"Kumbaga sulit na sulit ‘yung pag-aantay," he explained. "Hindi mo maiisip ‘yung pagod, kahit anong puyat eh talagang daraanan mo lang naman ‘yan,” bahagi niya."
