They say marriage is like fine wine, if tended properly, it just gets better with age. Such is the tandem of Doug Kramer and Cheska Garcia-Kramer. After 13 years of being married to each other and 18 years of being together as a couple, the two have remained loving, faithful and super sweet to each other.
In their respective Instagram accounts, Doug and Cheska penned heartfelt messages for each other and of course, for all the world to see (combined, the couple has over 4 million followers on Instagram).
"I'd marry you over and over again!"
This was Doug's introduction to his message for his lovely wife of 13 years. His post featured throwback photos of them - as boyfriend and girlfriend, on their wedding day, and their latest photo as a couple, still looking gorgeous after 18 years of being together.
In his message, Doug shared that throughout their marriage, they experienced highs and lows together, but despite it all, he wouldn't change a thing about it.
Is there a secret to their lasting relationship? Doug says there's no quick fix or formula, only the reality that they chose to stay together and make their marriage work every single day.
"These 13 yrs of marriage since Oct 9, 2008, and 18 yrs overall since Oct. 9, 2003 have been an amazing journey! Every lows and every highs that we've experienced, I wouldn't change anything at all. I'd do it all again because we're together.
No magic formula, we've gone this far only because we choose to make it work, and we choose to love each other every single day! I love you more than you'll ever know sweetheart. Happy Anniversary to us!" said the Kramer family patriarch.
More valuable than jewels
Meanwhile, Cheska chose to go with just one photo for her husband-appreciation post, which shows her being wrapped in her husband Doug's loving embrace.
Looking at their photo, one can tell that 13 years of being married has not aged this beautiful mom of three. One thing that we can probably get from this is that Cheska looks very secure and cared for by her husband.
In her post, Cheska said that despite being gifted with jewelry for their anniversary, the best gift for her is Doug's love and devotion for her and their family.
"Every year on every important occasion you always gift me with a beautiful piece of jewelry. You should know that the wonderful husband that you are is already a gift to me. You're my precious gift from God. Nothing means more to me than having your heart fully. The love and care you demonstrate to me and the kids every day keeps us secured. Most of all, the quiet life we share and the family we built together is far more valuable than an island filled with jewels. Happy sweet 13 years together, My Love! I love doing married life with you!♥️ I love you with all my heart," wrote the celebrity mom.
On a separate vlog, Cheska shared,
"He always has a ring for me every year. But I always tell him, the best gift my husband can ever give me is his love, his time, his attention and his loyalty to me."
In 2003, Teen actress Cheska Garcia met basketball player Dough Kramer at a party and they have been inseparable ever since. They got married in October 2008 in a grand celebration. They have built a beautiful family together with their three children - Kendra, Scarlet and Gavin.

"Don't get into marriage thinking that it's all going to be butterflies. Because it's very challenging," Doug shared. " But at the end of the day, you have to choose to uphold your covenant with the Lord where you said that you will love this woman through thick and thin, for richer or poorer, for everything." he added.
