Eastwood City is celebrating its annual Pet Blessing with a new theme. Called the PET Gala, the theme takes inspiration from the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s iconic MET Gala in New York City. Known as “Fashion’s Biggest Night Out”, The MET Gala, attracts Hollywood A-Listers for the most fashion-forward spectacle. This year, Eastwood City adopts the grandiose theme for the 12th anniversary of its Pet Blessing.

Launched in 2007, Eastwood City Pet Blessing is the country’s first and longest-running pet blessing event and draws hundreds of pet lovers from around the Metro. The pet-centric affair is one of the major efforts under Megaworld Lifestyle Malls’ award-winning Pet Pass Program, which won an Award of Merit at the recently concluded 17th Philippine Quill Awards.

For the 2019 PET Gala, Eastwood City calls on metropawlitan pooches, stylish cats and other runway-ready pets for a unique celebration that everyone can enjoy.

The event is open to the public and will take place on October 6, Sunday, to honor the Feast Day of St. Francis, Patron Saint of Animals and the Environment. During the event, pet owners are invited to pledge their love for their animals at the Pledge Wall and to join a variety of activities such as the Great Fashion Pawrade around Eastwood City at 3PM, the Pet Blessing Mass at 4PM, a Fashion Show at 5:30PM and the Talent Show at 6:30PM.

Participants will also receive loot bags, and can avail of vet consultations, grooming stations and visit other fun attractions such as a Pet Fair, a Pet Buffet, Pet Playgrounds, Games and Raffle Draws. Admission is free and registration will begin at 11AM.

This event is in partnership with Philippine Canine Club Inc. and PAWSsion Project – a non-profit organization and rescue group for fur babies initially from pound and now even to strays. You can extend your furever home as some of their rescues will be up for adoption.
