10-Year-Old girl ends her life to make her mom "the happiest woman in the world"

In a heartbreaking turn of events, a 10-year-old girl took her own life because she wanted to make her mum, "the happiest woman in the world"...

In a heartbreaking turn of events, a 10-year-old girl took her own life. In a note she left behind, she said it was to make her mom, “the happiest woman in the world”.

The tragedy occurred in Mexico on January 6, when the Christian festival of Three Kings Day is celebrated. On this day, traditionally, Spanish children receive presents from their family.

‘I want to ask my mom to be calm, not to work a lot, the best present I can ask is her happiness,” wrote the child.

10-year-old girl took her own life to ‘make mom happy’

The girl, known as Evelyn Nicole N, was apparently blamed for her father leaving home.

She also thought she was, “a pain and a ruin” in her mother’s life. Apparently she was told that she shouldn’t have been born…

This is what she wrote in her letter:

“Dear Three Kings, I only want to ask you my mom will be the happiest woman in the world after I will not be here any more as I am only a pain and a ruin in her life since I was born, as I was the reason my dad left our house.

“I want to ask my mom to be calm, not to work a lot, the best present I can ask is her happiness. And I hope some day you remember me and in the sky, finally, you hug me.

“I think the best present for the Three Kings is if I kill myself. As you always said to me I wish you had never been born.

“I love you so much, mom, I know the Three Kings do not exist, but I give you this great present.”

Authorities are currently investigating the incident.

Moms and dads, let’s remind our children that there is always a way out. That, there is nothing embarrassing about seeking help. It is okay to not be okay.
