Husband kills own wife because she can't get pregnant

A man from Quezon City has reportedly killed and chopped up his own wife because she was unable to get pregnant. The suspect had admitted that he was a drug user before.

A man from Quezon City has admitted to killing his own wife, and even chopping up her body. All because she was unable to get pregnant and bear him a child.

Children who were playing near the couple’s home discovered the remains of the victim in front of the couple’s house.

A neighbor mentioned that the suspect, Orlando Estrera said “Ganyan ang dapat ginagawa sa mga asawa,” when his wife’s remains were found.

The suspect was then arrested, and admitted to killing his wife in cold blood, all because she was unable to get pregnant.

He justified his actions by saying that his efforts at working hard are all in vain since they don’t have any children.

She was suffering from myoma

The suspect also admitted to having been a drug user, and to drinking often. He didn’t show any remorse for his actions towards his wife.

Senior Inspector Elmer Monsalve, from the QCPD Homicide division shared that Estrera’s wife was planning to undergo treatment for her myoma. Sadly, her husband had killed her before she could be treated.

The victim’s family was devastated after hearing the news. They also added that the victim’s husband often got drunk and beat his wife.

The suspect will  undergo a psychiatric evaluation in order to determine if he is in a healthy state of mind. However, the victim’s family maintains that the suspect doesn’t have any mental problems.
