There’s no need to worry, though, because even if your hubby rarely utters those three sweet words, knowing the simple signs he truly loves you will put you at ease.

1. He smiles after you kiss
Though he doesn’t notice it, his face during the moment after you kiss can tell you a lot. Does he smile or does he look happy after you kiss? Then, he really loves you.
2. He calls or texts for no reason
If he calls or texts, not because he needs something, but because he just wants to talk or to find out how your day is going, he is still head over heels in love. A text in the middle of the day to let you know he is thinking about you can be just as romantic as a bold profession of love.
3. He remembers the little things
A husband who truly loves you, pays attention. He takes note of the little things, your likes and dislikes, for instance. Often, he doesn’t even need to ask what’s wrong or what you need because he truly knows you.
4. He keeps his promises
He’s taken care of your trust by coming through for years. He doesn’t even need to use words because his actions alone are sufficient proof that he cares. He values your trust and follows through on the promises he makes.
5. He doesn’t mind being embarrassed
He is perfectly fine of making a fool of himself to make you laugh, like singing your favorite song out of tune or dancing with you in public to cheer you up even if he has two left feet. He can even go as far as buying you feminine hygiene products because he doesn’t care about embarrassment, he simply wants to take care of you.

6. He takes care of you when you’re sick
He holds your hair away from your face when you’ve had to much to drink. He gives you a back rub and holds a washcloth over your forehead when you have a fever. Hubbies who are truly in love will show this through how much they care for your health and well-being.
7. He tells you his secrets
Love can mean opening up to someone. Baring your genuine self is one of the true gestures of romance. A hubby in love will not be afraid to show how vulnerable he is by sharing things he doesn’t normally share with anyone else.
8. He does things you like even if he doesn’t
Perhaps he’s scared of heights, but you’re dying to try this new thrill ride at an amusement park. He will go with you and scream his head off, but he doesn’t care as long as it makes you happy to share that moment with him.

If you’re walking in the mall, for example, he gives your hand a squeeze. This simple, timeless gesture may remind you of the time you started dating, but it’s still one of the surefire ways to know your hubby has eyes for only you.
10. He makes plans with you
A husband who is truly in love cannot imagine a future without you in it. If he’s fond of making plans with you, he is a keeper. A husband who can dream with you, encouraging you to do the same, is someone who is genuinely, head over heels, in love with you.
