Jericho Rosales and his wife, Kim Jones, are not yet ready to have a baby.
Rosales, in an interview with by Llhonette Beltran on PEP.ph, said their schedules as of now are too hectic to allow for a child. But aside from this, they also want to do other things before settling down with a family. More details from Beltran's interview below.
According to the sexy heartthrob, they still want to travel the globe and reach their career goals.
"No, we want to travel, e. Kim and I wanna travel. Madami pa kaming kailangan i-check sa globe, madami pa, e. (We still need to check a lot of things around the globe.)," he told the entertainment news site.
“Na-i-imagine lang namin kapag may baby, wala na. Yung dog namin, yun yung example, hindi namin madala. (We can already imagine how it's going to be when there's a baby already. An example is our dog, we can't even take our dog around with us.)," he explained.
Rosales also said he wants to support Jones in her career.
“She’s at her peak now, she’s building her own ano [career]...She’s almost there kung saan niya gusto pumunta (where she wants to go)," he said.
“I wanna give that to her, and ako rin (me too) I still have things to do," Rosales also said.
However, a baby is still in the cards as Rosales revealed they have discussed the subject.
Rosales and Jones have been married for two years.
Finding time for each other despite their hectic schedules
Both Rosales and Jones have thriving careers in the entertainment industry. Rosales, who has been in showbiz for 20 years, has his hands full with his television career, while Jones is constantly out of the country for her work in the fashion world.
Given their busy schedules, time together has to be carefully planned out and penciled into their calendars.
"Everything is planned," Rosales said, adding that they plan months ahead--a year's worth of travel and time together.
