A few days after his ex-girlfriend Shara Chavez claimed he had been cheating on her, singer Jovit Baldivino has broken his silence. He took to Facebook to address the issue:
"God bless everyone, stay calm, alam ng Diyos lahat ang nangyayari," the 23-year-old singer wrote on his official Facebook page. "Siya lang talaga lahat ang nakakaalam. Tatanggapin ko lahat ng sasabhin niyo! Pero ang Diyos lang ang nakakaalam ng lahat lahat!"
Three days later, he posted another message to his 1.5 million fans, writing: "Kalmado lang kami lahat. Family ko, relatives ko, mga kaibigan ko, kasi ayaw namin na mas lalo pang lumaki yan, at ayaw din namin magsalita ng masasakit na bagay sa mga taong mapanghusga. Basta andito pa din ako nakatayo at paninindigan ko, namin, na wala kaming ginawang masama."
Continuing, he admitted that he did make mistakes, but that he regrets them. He did not specify what these "mistakes" were, neither did he confirm or deny the cheating issue.
"Pinilit kong ibangon ang lahat ng bagay na nagkulang ako, kasi hindi ako masamang tao alam ng karamihan yan, pero kung naniniwala kayo sa bagay na yan, wala naman ako magagawa kasi hindi ko naman po hawak ang mga pagiisip niyo."
He also emphasized that his fans and followers are the reason why he has come so far in his career. They're the ones who have encouraged him to remain "humble and generous," he writes.
"Kahit kelan hindi ko po nagawang magdamot sa mga bagay na yan," he continued. "Masaya ako sa ipinahiram na talento sa akin ni God, at masaya din ako na pinasasaya ko kayo bawat pagtatanghal ko sa entablado, pero ito lang ang masasabi ko sa inyo, mag-isip muna kayo bago kayo manghusga kasi hindi po kayo ang batas para husgahan ako ng ganun ganun na lang, maraming salamat po inyong lahat na patuloy na naniniwala at nagmamahal sa akin. God Bless always."
Shara and Jovit's daughter Akeya will be turning a year old in July 2017.
