After being a couple for nearly 4 years, Kaye Abad still has never felt any insecurity or jealousy. It’s simply not in her nature.
The 35–year-old actress opened up about how much she trusts husband Paul Jake Castillio in an interview with entertainment website PEP.
“Ever since, hindi ako selosa,” she shared. “Kung ayaw niya sa akin, e, di palitan niya ako, not my loss.”
The two tied the knot in December 2016 and after nearly a year of marriage, it seems Kaye has some marriage wisdom couples can learn from.
“Kumbaga, sabi nila, ‘Mas higpitan mo, kung mambababae ‘yan, marami namang paraan’,” she continued, adding how women have to accept the possibility that infidelity does happen. “Maging open ka na lang. Kung ipagpalit ka, ganun talaga.”
As for the success of a relationship? She believes it depends on the wife.
“Kasi ang babae, mas patient than sa lalaki. Babae yung mas vocal na magsabi kung ano yung mali, or mas mag-initiate na, ‘Let’s talk about it.'” she shared, though she clarified this might not be true for all couples.
“But not lahat, ha? Kasi may iba na mas patient ang lalaki. But mostly, yes, babae.”
In a previous interview with Philstar, she opened up about PJ is as a husband.
“Actually, nothing has changed how he was as a boyfriend and now as my husband and I find it a good thing,” said Kaye. “Except now, he works harder for our future especially since there’s a little one coming.”
The couple announced that they were expecting their first child in July 2017. In October, they revealed they are having a boy.
