As much as we want them to stay our babies forever, we can’t stop our children from growing up. Pretty soon, they’re going to have their own lives and their own ways. The only thing we can do is to give some pieces of advice and remind them to stay true to themselves.
This was probably the sentiment of celebrity mom Chesca Garcia-Kramer when she reminded her equally stunning daughter Kendra Kramer to not hide her beauty behind filters.
Doug and Chesca’s firstborn, who is now 12 years old, already has her own Instagram account where she has been keeping their family’s (collectively known as Team Kramer) fans updated about her family life. She usually uploads snippets of her activities with siblings Scarlet and Gavin.
The Kramer dalagita also posts selfies and OOTDs from time to time, showing her followers that she’s as pretty and fashionable as her mom.
Chesca’s advice to her daughter
On Friday, November 5, 2021, Kendra uploaded a series of selfies with the caption: “Mirror mirror on the wall.”

As of writing, the said post already got over 25,000 likes. Her followers filled the comments section with admiration posts, saying that the young Kramer reminded them of supermodel Kendall Jenner. Some of their long-time supporters felt nostalgic and couldn’t believe that Team Kramer’s first baby is all grown up.
Meanwhile, Mommy Chesca, who knew Kendra the most, was quick to notice that Kendra used some filters on Instagram to enhance the photo. To this, the celebrity mom gave her daughter a short reminder to let her natural beauty shine.
“Don’t hide your beauty with filters! I like your pictures better without it. Just my honest opinion. I always tell you that,” Chesca wrote in the comments section.
While some netizens said that Kendra probably only used light filters that didn’t change anything about her pretty face, Kendra, being the obedient daughter that she is, seemed to follow her mom’s advice because the most recent selfies she posted on her IG account showed her without any filters, in natural lighting which brought out her beauty even more.
Kendra Kramer: from being a baby to a lady
Parents of preteen girls can probably relate to Doug and Chesca’s sentiments about their eldest daughter growing up.
Last November 13, Doug posted on his Instagram account a photo of him, Chesca and Kendra flexing the latter’s grade school diploma.
“Never too late to appreciate our kids’ accomplishments. Today, @kramer.kendra graduated from Grade 6 into high school!
No amount of words are enough to describe how proud we are of our little girl. Keep shining for God and being an example to your siblings. I love you kennykins!” wrote the proud dad.

Meanwhile, last week, Chesca posted on her account a photo of Daddy Doug clipping their firstborn fingernails with the caption,
“Sorry @kramer.kendra, Papa says, no long nails first!!!”
It seems like the Kramer couple is trying to hold on to their baby girl for as long as they could. But on Mommy Chesca’s latest post, she showed Kendra’s room getting an upgrade, with a neutral palette and updated furniture fit for a young lady. In her caption, Chesca shared that Kendra reassured her that she will always be their little girl and she’s not in a hurry to grow up.
“My baby is now a lady! No longer a little girl’s room but she still has her favorite dolls and stuffed toys on her bed. She told me she will always be a little girl at heart and is no hurry of growing up. Hi Baby, @kramer.kendra!” wrote the celebrity mom.
