Little girl in viral video steals the spotlight at awards night for Internet celebrities
4-year-old Korean Kim Ye Bin stole the show at the Influence Asia 2015 awards night recognizing social media celebrities.
Do you remember the funny stranger danger video featuring an adorable Korean girl?
That girl is Kim Yebin - the young Internet sensation who boasts almost 900,000 followers on her Facebook page, Baby Yebin. Meanwhile, her popular YouTube video has generated more than a million views to date.
The video shows the little girl and her mom practicing how to deal with a strange man who tries to lure her away with sweets and an invitation to go swimming. See the video here:
Yebin is now 4 years old and, together with her parents and baby brother, currently flew to Singapore for the first time to present an award at Influence Asia 2015. She was one of the internet celebrities invited to the first awarding body that recognizes social media influencers in the region.
It is the family's first visit to the Lion City and they made sure to visit Universal Studios and Gardens by the Bay while they were in town.
See what sweet Ye Bin looks like now!
Ye Bin is a wonderful example of how families can use the Internet to share best parenting practices -- and be praised for it. After all, it takes a village to raise a child and social media is turning the world into one big village.
