Seeing as Queen’s heyday was in the 70’s and 80’s, many of us can safely say we never got to experience their initial impact on the rock and roll scene. If you’re like me, though, the time gap between their years of success didn’t hinder your love for their catchy and iconic tunes.

Songs like “Another One Bites the Dust”, “We Are the Champions”, and “Under Pressure” have become a huge part of popular culture. These classic rock staples can be sung without musical accompaniment by just about anyone you know.

While these songs are legendary in their own right, Queen’s most quoted and (often badly) sung song is “Bohemian Rhapsody”. The lyrics are genius, the instrumentation is renowned, and Freddy Mercury—well, he was simply amazing.

Something about the way the elements of “Bohemian Rhapsody” come together makes us all want to channel our inner Wayne and Garth:

Sure, even my generation feels a time gap between Queen’s hits and now, but what about today’s youth? Will they ever appreciate the classic tunes of yesteryear?
