As parents, it’s only natural to want to capture the perfect newborn photos. It’s one of the first times you’ll get to encapsulate the joy you feel as a new parent in a picture, and share said picture with your friends and family.

Many parents know that this task is easier said than done. After all, most babies aren’t exactly as photogenic as you’d like them to be.

Can you really blame them, though? They just spent the past nine months in tight quarters only to be greeted by a pink or blue blanket and a photoshoot a few days later.

In any case, sometimes newborn photoshoots turn out to be just the way you picture them. Other times the final result is memorable…but for all the wrong reasons.

In the case of this Australian couple, their photoshoot experience can be categorized under the latter.

The photo isn’t doctored or altered in any way, so it goes without saying that this photoshoot was unforgettable for both parties!

In any interview with Daily Mail Australia, photographer Abbie Rogers claims that certain “incidents” like this happen rather often, but they’re rarely captured on camera. Unfortunately for this couple, their bundle of joy was caught in the act.
