Recipe for lotus root porridge

 

What you need

60 grams Huai Shan (sliced)

5 seeded black dates

3 shelled walnuts

50 gram lotus roots

1/2 tsp salt

What you do

1) Wash, peel and cut the lotus root into thin slices (cross-section)

2) Rinse Hui Shan, dates and walnuts. Add water and cook.

3) Stir in lotus root and bring to boil.

4) Lower heat to simmer and add salt.

5) Serve.
