It’s no secret that Marian Rivera loves to cook. A year before she became a mom, she enrolled in culinary school to pursue her longtime dream of becoming a chef. Now, the 32-year-old actress is combining passion for food with her love for her baby girl Zia by whipping up healthy and delicious meals to nurture her aside from breastfeeding. Though the devoted mom continues to breastfeed her 1-year-old baby Zia.

During an appearance on Regine Velasquez’ show Sarap Diva, Marian shared one of her own Zia-approved baby food recipes, Chicken with Papaya and Spinach!

The hands-on mom shared that she makes sure that she’s the one who prepares Zia’s meals in order to make sure that it’s truly healthy and nutritious.

“Gusto kong sanayin ang anak kong mahilig kumain ng vegetables. Ako kasi, sa lola ko, talagang nahiligan kong kumain ng vegetables…”

“Gusto kong sanayin ang anak kong mahilig kumain ng vegetables. Ako kasi, sa lola ko, talagang nahiligan kong kumain ng vegetables,” she said in the interview, adding that, as a working mom, she manages to find time to prepare her baby’s meals.

“May ibang working mom na mahirap talaga para sa kanila. Ang advice ko, kahit isang araw na available sila, magluto sila para sa anak nila tapos i-save nila. Lagay nila sa container. Huwag lang patagalin nang masyadong matagal,” cautioned the foodie mom. “Maximum of three or four days.”
