Angelica Hale looks just like any other 9-year-old girl. However, behind her amazing smile and voice lies the story of a miracle, and a mother’s love for her child.
Her mother gave her a new lease on life
Way before her amazing performance in America’s Got Talent, Half-Filipina Angelica Hale was already capturing the hearts of Americans through her singing.
Her parents first noticed her talent when she was only 2 years old, however, her life suddenly took a turn for the worst when she was 4 years old.
She had acquired double pneumonia and her kidney suddenly stopped working. She spent a total of 80 days in the hospital, and 6 weeks in the pediatric ICU.
What ultimately gave her a new lease on life was a kidney transplant from her mother.
When she got better, she performed at various US events, raising awareness for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, so she’s a veteran when it comes to performing, even before her amazing America’s Got Talent audition.
Now, after her awe-inspiring performance on America’s Got Talent, she’s set her sights on bigger things, and is looking forward to pursuing her passion.
She added that she had been practicing and training hard for her next performances, and we’ll surely be waiting for her to showcase her amazing talent once more!
