Pedophiles, sexual offenders, rapists, and bad men in general deserve to be locked up; they wreak havoc whichever way they go. And on top of it all, their fleshly desires are serious mental conditions for which medicine has no cure.

But because we don’t live in an ideal world, many of them roam the streets free and unsuspected, on their way to their next victim.
This Indianapolis father is one of these men. Despite being found guilty of molesting his daughter who had cancer, he gets no jail time, only a few years of probation—this at the request of his wife.

The trouble in the Schwer family began when Arpana’s daughter revealed to her that she had touched her father her “peepeeluca,” the family’s moniker for genitals. The girl also told her mother that her father asked her to sit on his “cat tail.”

Arpana immediately called Indiana Department of Child Services and had her husband arrested.

Court reports revealed that this happened for almost two years before their daughter finally admitted what went on when she slept with her father.

Jeremy had told her daughter that he’d go to jail if she told anyone. As it happened, he would have gone to jail had Arpana not requested that Jeremy be released to provide for their family.

Deputy Prosecutor Courtney Curtis expressed her disappointment with the sentencing, saying “This is the most horrific circumstance of a child molest case that I’ve ever seen.”

Since they found out about their daughter’s cancer, the family had been hard on cash, struggling to make ends meet.

But according to sources, since Jeremy’s release he had failed to land a job and contribute to his family’s finances.
