Neri Naig’s baby boy with husband, singer Chito Miranda, is happily breastfed!

Since becoming a breastfeeding mom, Neri has shared her experiences with her fans and followers. Last August 2017, in honor of World Breastfeeding Month, Neri shared a stunning photo of herself while breastfeeding her baby Miggy. In the post, which she shared on Facebook, she recounts the difficulties she’s encountered and what keeps her inspired to press on.

“Mahirap, nakakapagod, minsan mararamdaman mo na parang may naiipitang ugat. Nasabi ko na ba na nakakapagod? Pero worth it lahat lahat lalo na alam mong healthy si baby,” wrote the first-time mom, adding how she often has to change positions and endure discomfort when feeding. Despite this, she is happy to see her little one healthy and energetic.

As long as she has the capacity and milk supply, Neri plans to keep on nursing.

She also took time to commend her fellow breastfeeding mommies, who continued feeding despite the pain: “Mahirap at napakaaaaa sakit magpasuso lalo na nung mga unang weeks after mong manganak. Saludo ako sa inyong lahat at di tayo sumuko.”

But she also didn’t forget to pay tribute to moms struggling with low milk supply.

In closing, she talked about her decision to go through cord blood banking before finally congratulating her fellow moms, breastfeeding or otherwise. You are doing a great job, mommies!”
