6 years ago, this family photo of the six McGhee kids sleeping on top of their father became viral online. Now, the photo of the parents with their sextuplets has been recreated to promote their second show, called “Growing Up McGhee”.

The couple previously had a show on Oprah’s network, OWN, called “Six Little McGhees”. Now, after 2 years, they’re back on television. The promotional photo was taken by the exact same studio that took the original viral photo 6 years before.
From an interview on Ebony, Mia and Rozonno said that they met in high school, and both of them had troubled childhoods. Mia was forced to drop out of high school and support herself when her mother kicked her out when she was a teen, and Rozonno grew up without any contact with his father, and his mother was a drug addict. Their similar upbringings brought them closer together.

The couple said that they suffered through several failed pregnancies before learning that they were going to have sextuplets. They’re the very first couple in Columbus, Ohio to have sextuplets.
Their new show talks about how they manage their carpet cleaning business, and handle 6 boisterous kids. Even if they’re sextuplets, both Mia and Rozonno agree that their kids all have very distinct personalities, so they have to take it into consideration when dealing with their kids.
When asked about how it feels to have 6 kids to take care of, Mia says that “It can become overwhelming, but it’s a joy; it’s a joy being a mom now.”
