A police officer from Surigao del Sur is earning the praise of netizens after a series of photos of her breastfeeding another woman’s baby went viral. The baby’s mom, according to the post, had brought her 1-month-old to the station because she had been suffering from postpartum depression.

“A woman of legal age believed to be experiencing a postpartum depression came to this station with her (1) one month old baby,” reads the caption. “PO2 Rochelle A. Gordo – Admin PNCO of Tandag CPS offered to nurse and breastfeed the baby.”

Netizens from all over the country soon started heaping praise upon the working mom and officer, who truly went above and beyond the call of duty.

“Good job seargent. Breastmilk is the best for babies. God bless you,” wrote the admin of the Dinagat Islands Police station’s facebook page.
