A mother’s love truly has no boundaries. We’ve seen this in many instances, over and over again. And now once again, we see a mother’s true love shine through in this story.

Hao Lina is a police officer in China and she melted the hearts of millions of netizens after she breastfed the 4-month old baby of a suspect, in court.

The baby’s mother was on trial and so, could not breastfeeding her hungry baby. So she gave permission to Ms Hao to feed the little one instead.

Ms Hao, who is obviously a mum herself, said the little one had been left in her charge before the mother went for the trial, say reports.

The baby’s mum was charged with “fraudulent fund-raising, illegally absorbing public deposit and crime concealment with 33 other people,” according to the court.

“The baby wouldn’t stop crying and we were all worried. I am a new mother, I could feel how anxious the child’s mother would have been. All I thought about was to try my best and comfort the tiny baby,” ssaid Ms Hao.

So she got permission from the baby’s mom, then found a quiet corner and breastfed the little one. The beautiful scene was snapped by one of Ms Hao’s colleagues on September 23.

The gorgeous pictures were first shared by the court to its website and social media account, before hitting mainstream media.

According to reports, the baby’s mom had been so touched that she had cried. But for Ms Hao, her kind behaviour came naturally.

“I believe every police officer would do the same. If I had been the mother, I would have hoped someone to help my baby too,” she said.

Her tender gesture of kindness has not gone unnoticed by netizens and members of the public, with them crowning her as “most beautiful mother” and “goddess” (we have to agree!).

This is not the first time breastfeeding moms have reached out to support other breastfeeding moms, regardless of who they are.

Earlier this year, we brought you the story of a Jewish nurse who breastfed the baby of an injured Palestinian mom without a second thought.

It’s true – it really take a village to raise a child and moms like these make that village a secure, beautiful place.
