Games, Prizes (including Laptop Computer!) and a Concert After-Party Await Delegates of PRSP Students’ PR Con!

The Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) is announcing more exciting fun details for the PRSP Students’ PR Con 2021 and its much-awaited virtual after-party.

A virtual, interactive, and nationwide edition of the Students’ PR Congress, the PRSP Students’ PR Con is an opportunity for students all over the country to learn more about the public relations industry from leading practitioners in the field.

Aside from a series of informative talks and discussions, PRSP Students’ PR Con participants will be treated to an exclusive virtual concert after-party. The organization has partnered with Warner Music Philippines and PhilPop Musicfest Foundation to bring together a line-up of up-and-coming artists for a one-of-a-kind musical experience, which includes Jikamarie, Keiko Necesario, Lara Maiguel, Paul Pablo and Reon.

The concert after-party, which is exclusive for student participants of the PRSP Students’ PR Con, will also have surprise games and big prizes, including a brand-new Lenovo laptop computer to one lucky student courtesy of the event’s staging and creative partner COMCO Southeast Asia.

To get after-party tickets and raffle entries, student attendees can earn badges from watching all the talks in the virtual Conference Hall and visiting all the booths in the interactive Exhibit Hall. Participants who completed all the badges will be able to access the PRSP Students’ PR Con After Party at 8:00 PM in the virtual conference platform and will be eligible for the raffle draw at the end of the program.

Just post the photo on Facebook or Instagram or Twitter with the hashtags #PRSPStudentsPRCon2021, #DecodingContent and #JourneyToPRforGood. Include your learnings from the event in your post and get the chance to win prizes later on in our program.

Student attendees are also encouraged to wear smart casual beach-themed attire as part of the Students’ PR Con 2021 by-the-beach platform setting. Win prizes by taking a selfie in our photobooth (located at the platform’s home page) while wearing your smart casual beach-themed PR Con OOTD and post it on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtags #PRSPStudentsPRCon2021 and #StudentsPRConOOTD. Participants with the best photos will also be crowned Mr. and Ms. PR Con OOTD later on in our program and receive exciting prizes from our partners.

About PRSP Students’ PR Con

Students’ PR Con aims to help participants navigate the new media landscape.

This year’s theme is about “Decoding Content: The Journey to PR for Good”, wherein participants will be able to go through the content journey’s three different stages, which are: (1) Capture and Consume, which addresses how we contextualize content we encounter in everyday life; (2) Curate and Converse, which will discuss how to properly curate content from reliable sources and create fruitful conversations responsibly; and (3) Create and Care, which collates learnings from the first two segments by talking about why creating our own PR for Good can push forward ideas into meaningful advocacies and causes.

Students’ PR Con 2021 is also set to kick-off the upcoming Students’ Grand Prix in January 2022. The upcoming Students’ Grand Prix will be PRSP’s first hack sprint edition of the annual student event and competition. More details will be announced during its launch in the upcoming PR Con.
