“Alam kong mahirap yung past couple of months & the next 5 years”
On her Facebook post, Robredo writes, “Got this letter from my bunso tonight after dinner because I am not feeling very well and, oh well, it’s Women’s Month.”
Her youngest daughter, Jillian, was the one who wrote the touching letter, and she writes,
“Alam kong mahirap yung past couple of months & the next 5 years para satin kasi ang daming hate and all, pero alam naman natin na walang totoo dun, so love love love.”
“Kahit busy ka, di ka pa rin nawawalan ng time for us”
The vice presidency has both been a blessing and a curse to the Robredo family, as aside from being given a great opportunity to help Filipinos, she and her family suddenly became targets for political as well as personal attacks.
In spite of these controversies, the Robredos remain strong and united as a family.
Her daughter then goes on to write, “Thank you dahil kahit busy ka, di ka pa rin nawawalan ng time for us.”
And really, one of the most important things in life really is your family. Friends and acquaintances will come and go, but at the end of the day, your family is always there to support you, and be there for you whenever you need them.
