Sweet and sour pork

I am not sure about you, but I know that I am guilty of constantly whipping up the same dishes for dinner. While my angel of a husband and kids haven’t started complaining yet, I do know that it’s only a matter of time before someone makes a snide remark!

Wok Fried Sliced Pork with Ginger and Spring Onion

What You Need

330gm pork collar

30 gm sliced ginger

20 gm spring onion

20 gm oyster sauce

10 gm sesame oil

15 gm hua tiao chiew (Chinese Rice Wine)

20 gm moto flour

1 egg

6 gm salt (fine)

What You Do

1.Slice the pork collar and spring onion

2.Heat the oil in the wok and fry the sliced pork collar

3.Take the pork out from the wok

4.Next, heat fresh oil in the wok.

5.Fry the ginger and pork. Add the oyster sauce and a little chicken stock or water

6.Add sesame oil, hua tiao chiew and egg

7.Pinch of salt for taste.

Braised Pork

What You Need

1130 gm rock sugar

1130 gm sliced ginger

90 gm salt fine

750 gm fish gravy

750 gm dark sauce

270 gm light soya sauce

600 gm pork belly

240 gm mei kui loo (Rose Wine)

What You Do

1.In a wok, heat the oil and fry the pork belly.

2.Next, in a pot, mix all the items except the pork belly. Bring it to a boil.

3.Then, add the pork and let it simmer for about 3 hours.
