Sesame Street Turns The Big 4-0

Sesame Street has turned 40! The educational children’s programme made its mark in the world with its November 10th 1969 debut.  Since then the likes of Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Ernie ‘N Bert, Oscar, The Count, Tele Monster, Grover and not forgeting, the always lovable Snuffleupagus, have entered into living rooms and grown in the hearts of not just children, but adults as well.

To mark its big day, Tuesday, November 10th’s episode was slotted to have  a special guest on board – Michelle Obama

Here’s a video that was released to mark its 35th year. Enjoy!
