With just three more months until the big day, it’s all systems go for Cristalle Belo’s wedding this coming September.
Cristalle just got back from Italy, where she checked out the villas in Lake Como for the perfect wedding venue, met with wedding suppliers, and delighted in food tasting.
According to a report by Merla Fernandez on Pep.ph Cristalle and her fiancé, Australian hotelier Justin Pitt, finally decided on Villa Erba, a 19th centrury villa situated in an impressive 24 acres of immaculate gardens and towering trees.
Villa Erba boasts a long driveway lined with majestic trees. From behind the trees, one catches a glimpse of the villa’s stone pillars, with mountain peaks in the background.

Upon reaching the villa, one is transported back to a time of chivalry and brave knights. Creeping vines cover its exterior, and a terrace overlooking the main entrance reminds one of Romeo and Juliet.
The Villa was built by Luigi Erba, brother of the prominent businessman Carlo Erba (founder of the first Italian pharmaceutical company), to show off his wealth. It also happens to be the setting of the movie Ocean’s Twelve.

If one is lucky, the spectacle of blooming flowers in the expansive garden is an unparalleled treat.

Chandeliers, soft yellow lights, heavy doors, and wall tapestries complement the romantic ambience of the dining room, where the couple sampled food for their wedding menu.
