Make your wishes come true and take them across the stars in Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Wish,” the newest animated musical fantasy film from the legendary studio, now showing in cinemas. Set in the magical kingdom of Rosas, where wishes come true, “Wish” tells the story of Asha (Ariana DeBose), a young girl looking to become the apprentice to Rosas’ ruler King Magnifico (Chris Pine). After finding out the hidden truth about Rosas, she makes a powerful wish and meets a ball of energy named Star. Together with Star and her goat Valentino, Asha sets out on a quest to save the kingdom and save everyone’s wishes.
“Wish” features the voices of Ariana DeBose as Asha, Chris Pine as Magnifico, and Alan Tudyk as Asha’s favorite goat, Valentino. The film is helmed by director Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn, and produced by Peter Del Vecho, Juan Pablo Reyes, and Lancaster Jones. The screenplay is written by Jennifer Lee and Allison Moore. The film also features seven original songs written by Julia Michaels and Benjamin Rice, plus a score by composer Dave Metzger.
Filipino viewers can also listen to the special Filipino version of the film’s main song (“This Wish”) with “Aking Hiling”, performed by Zephanie. You can listen to the song on Spotify and watch the official music video coming soon to Youtube.
A nationwide music caravan with Wish 107.5 will also be held on November 22 at SM City Clark, and November 25 at Ayala Malls Central Bloc and SM Seaside Cebu.
