For a lot of men, erectile dysfunction is a very sensitive topic, and most men won’t admit to having problems in the bedroom.

However, addressing the problem directly is very important, and it should be something that you can openly discuss with your wife.

It’s no laughing matter

At it’s core, erectile dysfunction, or E.D., is a condition wherein the man is unable to have an erection, or finds it hard to maintain an erection, which makes it difficult for them to provide pleasure for their partner.

And while a lot of men joke about E.D., it’s most definitely not a laughing matter as about half of men aged 40-70 have reported having this type of problem, so it’s most certainly not an uncommon occurrence.

Just as important would be for someone who has E.D. to talk about it with his wife, as it’s not something that should be kept a secret, or be embarrassed about.

A lot of men with E.D. suffer from anxiety

E.D. causes a lot of other problems, such as anxiety. A lot of men suffering from E.D. feel anxious over being unable to satisfy their partner, that they avoid having sex entirely.

Try and understand that having E.D., isn’t just your problem, but it’s a couple’s problem as it affects you and your wife’s sex life. You shouldn’t try and keep the problem to yourself, as it’s likely to cause a lot of strain in your relationship if you keep your E.D. a secret from your wife.

When talking about E.D. with your wife, you need to be open and honest about your feelings. You can also tell them what you like sexually, as sometimes it can help you with your erectile dysfunction. Always remember that you and your wife are a team, and that you don’t have to carry your problems yourself.

What can you do about E.D.?

In most cases, erectile dysfunction can be treated. There are a lot of things that you can do in order to manage E.D., and it’s not only limited to taking medicine, as in some cases, E.D. can be a psychological problem.
