Parents have their own methods of discipline, but parents of millennial children specifically have their own effective way of teaching their children a lesson: confiscating their mobile phone.
This Spanish father did just that to her 14-year-old daughter, grounding her in the house and taking her phone away.

Like most discipline-resistant teenagers, his daughter defied his orders and went out of the house after his father left for the 24-hour convenience store. But instead of taking the front door, she went out through the window.
With the help of sheets knotted together as a makeshift rope, she made her way down the fifth-floor window. Halfway through her descent, the rope tore and she plummeted to the ground.
Paramedics arrived at the scene of the crime after someone from the neighborhood witnessed the freak accident.

She was the rushed to the hospital soon thereafter, where she was put under intensive care. Latest reports on this front claim that she remains in critical condition and is fighting or her life.
The police have also opened an investigation into the circumstances leading to the accident.
Discipline too harsh?
Discipline is an inevitable—even crucial—part of one’s childhood. Not only does it build their moral code, it also teaches them the concept of right and wrong, punishment and reward.
Because it plays such an important part in their life, discipline has the potential to make or break a child’s development. That is why discipline could be tough to get and do right.
There are a lot of tips and tricks that you can employ, methods that are backed up by research and studies. No one will blame you if you find yourself unable do decide among all these options.
But it is important that, whatever your methods may be, you explain to your children why you’re doing it, what they will learn from it, and that at the end of the day you’re doing it because you love them.
