Launching Toshiba’s Takumi Masters

The term “Takumi” holds deep meaning in Japanese culture. It refers to a master craftsman—someone who has honed their skill through years of dedication, attention to detail, and a relentless pursuit of perfection. It’s a fitting concept for Toshiba’s approach to innovation. At the event, celebrated figures from the fields of food, design, and interior aesthetics were introduced as Toshiba’s local Takumi Masters: Chef JP Anglo, Amina Aranaz-Alunan, and Stephanie Kienle Gonzalez.

Chef JP Anglo, well-loved for his bold and innovative takes on Filipino cuisine, perfectly embodies the essence of a culinary Takumi. Amina Aranaz-Alunan, whose luxury fashion accessories have gained recognition for their elegant designs, brings her mastery of design into the fold. Meanwhile, Stephanie Kienle Gonzalez, known for her work in high-end furniture, champions the Filipino craft, integrating style and function in home design.

Each Takumi Master highlighted their passion for their craft and shared how they connect with Toshiba’s vision of creating beautiful and functional homes. For many guests, it wasn’t just about appliances anymore—it was about elevating everyday living.

Sleek, modern new appliances

But the stars of the event were, of course, the appliances themselves. With sleek lines and modern designs, Toshiba’s new range of refrigerators, laundry machines, and kitchen appliances doesn’t just stop at aesthetics. Each product has been engineered with the brand’s signature attention to detail, marrying design with cutting-edge technology to make daily chores smoother and more efficient.
